Limelight

T. FISHER

A Supernatural Saga of Music, Slavery, Soul-Debt, And A Family Curse That Spans 130 Years.

T. FISHER spins a dark, hypnotic tale where freedom costs a bloodline. Marie survived slavery by making a deal with a Mysterious Man. One hundred thirty years later, her grandson JoJo rises as a superstar unknowing of the contract that owns him. Music, magic, and malevolence intertwine. The Bank of Souls never sleeps. The spotlight is a lure. And the devil always collects. This is epic supernatural fiction.

T. FISHER

T. Fisher has called Richmond, California, home for more than 50 years. Raised by his mother alongside his two brothers, Fisher grew up with a love for storytelling, especially the old-school thrillers and horror movies that filled his imagination as a kid.
One of his earliest influences was Creature Features, the classic late-night television showcase that introduced generations of Bay Area viewers to horror and suspense. His creative influences would eventually include Stephen King and, in an interesting twist of fate, legendary British horror film director Terence Fisher a filmmaker with whom he happens to share a name.

Limelight

Some debts are never meant to be paid. Some are inherited.

The whole idea of contracts and soul harvesting is creepy but also kind of makes sense in a weird way. The Man in the Suit is terrifying because he’s charming. I liked how the supernatural stuff wasn’t just thrown in for shock value.

I wasn’t sure about the slavery parts at first because that’s heavy. But the way the author connects that history to the modern music stuff really got me. It’s not just a horror story. It’s about family and what we owe to each other. I had to put it down a few times just to breathe. Really well done. It stayed with me for days.

Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum,
